He began his paddling career on the age of six, was a student of the fiddle since the age of seven and was the salutatorian of the Brunswick High School Class of 2017.
Full-time status is achieved by incomes 12 credits; undergraduate day college students must earn 12 credits in fall or spring semester, and on-line college students should earn 12 credit in both EW1 & EW2, EW3 & EW4, or EW5 & EW6. Dana Reynolds, a 16-year-old Maranacook High School scholar, plays hand percussion and sings with the band. A nice 3xl nature image lead and harmony singer, with skills outstanding for somebody so young, Dana is also a standout athlete (cross-country, skiing, softball), and is lively in highschool theatrical productions.
Upon finishing his degree at Bowdoin Mike headed to the Southeastern United States to pursue his lifelong passion of paddling whitewater. During his 5 years within the area Mike kayaked, canoed, and rafted many main rivers, minor tributaries, and flooded creeks within the space. In ’92 Mike returned to the rivers of Maine to work with BOC director emeritus Jim Lentz. Since then Mike has overseen and managed the BOC’s explosion of progress to turn into the most important scholar organization on campus. Mike’s passion for whitewater, the outside, and pupil management has impressed and empowered countless numbers of Bowdoin college students and established the outing club as an iconic fixture of the Bowdoin campus.
